When I started thinking about my final project, I wanted to choose a company and category that I actually pay attention to as a consumer. The company I chose is Target and the category I will be focusing on is beauty.

Target has built a strong reputation for offering trendy products at affordable prices, and their beauty section has grown a lot over the past few years. Today, Target carries a wide range of skincare, makeup, hair care, and wellness products. One thing that makes their beauty category stand out is the mix of well known brands and exclusive brands that are only available at Target. This gives customers a lot of variety while still keeping products accessible and reasonably priced.

Another reason I chose this category is because the beauty industry is constantly changing. Trends move quickly and social media plays a big role in what products become popular. Target has done a good job keeping up with these trends and making beauty feel easy to shop. The stores are organized in a way that helps customers discover new products, and their website makes it simple to browse and read reviews before buying.
